What I do
I’m a designer and programmer working across interface design, front-end development, and interactive systems. My work focuses on building digital experiences and tools that help people better understand, navigate, and engage with information, environments, and ideas.
I’m particularly interested in projects related to education, culture, civic systems, climate, and public access to information.
As a designer
I design interfaces and digital systems that balance clarity, functionality, and visual identity. My process combines research, iteration, prototyping, and close collaboration to shape experiences that feel intuitive, thoughtful, and responsive to the people using them.
As a programmer
I build small-to-medium scale websites, tools, and interactive applications from concept to launch. My work spans front-end development, creative coding, data visualization, and lightweight web applications using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and modern web frameworks when appropriate.
I enjoy building systems that are maintainable, accessible, and adaptable over time.
This website is hand-coded and maintained by me.
Interactive Media
I also work with interactive media, spatial interfaces, and experimental applications using tools such as Unity, WebAR, A-Frame, Twine, and lightweight game engines. These projects often explore interaction, movement, narrative systems, and non-traditional interface design.
Physical Computing & Fabrication
In addition to digital work, I have experience with physical prototyping and fabrication, including Arduino, soldering, metalworking, 3D modeling/printing, and laser cutting.
